Walk on the Wild Side by Sierra Cartwright

Walk on the Wild Side (from publisher):

On a night filled with trick or treating, Brianna Duncan's about to get the treat of her life.
She's wanted to take a walk on the wild side, and Halloween gives her the perfect opportunity.
She's been interested in the BDSM lifestyle, and when her hunk of a husband-to-be brings home a scandalous, skimpy outfit and tells her it's the costume for the party they're going to, she's nervous, and more than a little tantalised.*Publisher misspelling, not mine!
Not only does Justin have treats in store for Brianna, he's got some leather and tawse in his bag of tricks and they're both determined that this won't be just an ordinary Halloween.

Review: Somewhat confusing on who initiated the bdsm aspect into this relationship. Apparently, Justin was a Dom and had been in D/s relationships previously but not with Brianna. When she expresses an interest, he doesn't respond, that is until Halloween. Then Brianna fantasies come to life and she has to decide whether she can handle the realities of that type of relationship over what she has read in erotic books and on websites. As this is a bdsm story, the sex scenes focus more on the pain/punishment/submission aspect and not sexual intercourse although there is some. The punishment scenes can get intense and the use of a tawse and flogger on breasts, genitalia and bottom was cringe worthy to this reader. Overall not a bad read and was very British in terms and language usage. Read this only if you like the pain aspect of bdsm or are interested in how this type of relationship begins.
